One of the best, (if not the best) Hotels in all of Murfeesboro TN. The reason for that is not the beds. It's not the restaurant (which we will go back to) It's not the rooms. It's the wonderful owner and staff that run the place. I cannot for the life of me tell you how hard these people work to keep the place going. Or how friendly and helpful that they are. Updated 2024: April is a very helpful front desk and was extremely helpful in getting us in a room last minute definitely recommend her for a raise she's very helpful and sweet Maggie, dear Maggie, is the best of them. She's the sweetest woman you'd ever meet. Always smiling and extremely helpful. Anna is the hardest working out of the group. Poor girl works herself to the bone and yet keeps a big grin on her face the whole time. Mark, stern as he looks is very friendly. And gets his job done right!. He'll always do right by you! (I sadly only know the owners son and can only speak highly of how he keeps the place going) The rooms in the hotel are nice and mostly quiet. (Unless some other guest causes a stir in the hallway) they are not huge but not small either. They are about inbetween. The beds are hard if not cozy. (Sadly if you're looking for the world's best beds this isn't the place) but I have never had a bad night's sleep on any of them. There are plenty of nice places to eat in the area. Personally I wouldn't walk to any of them but you could if you were adventurous enough. Speaking of places to eat: It's about time I ranted about CJ's at the Inn. This "Restaurant" as they call themselves is just awful. The food is nasty. They are slow. And the last time I ate there the girl waiting on me spent more time on her cellphone then she did serving food (to be fair it was quiet in there and I was one of 5 dinners) They treat the hotel staff like dirt and leave plates, cups, and bowls all over the hotel and never go pick them up!! Last time I visited the hotel they left a tray of used dishes outside my door for 3 days. And it was from the previous guest that had been in that room. 😲 I talked to the staff and they told me they had been doing it for months. Do yourself a favor and don't eat their shitty food. Over all it's a very wonderful place to stay. With a wonderful staff that make the place what it is. If you need a place that's friendly and pleasant to stay THIS IS YOUR PLACE! I'd recommend this place to anyone. 👍👍👍👍👍 (But stay out of CJ's at the Inn. They're jerks and the food is awful.👎😑)
